The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This project involves replacing 88 existing halogen grow lights with energy-efficient LED grow lights, installing sinks, kiosks, and monitors in Grow Areas A and B, and installing kiosks and monitors in the Propagation Area, as well as resurfacing the floor in Grow Area A and B with an epoxy floor system to resolve drainage issues. This project is located in District 6.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0966-57-6210.

APPROVALS:

The Orange County Convention Center concurs with this recommendation.

 

REMARKS:

Eleven bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness.  The bid from Onsite Safety, Inc. was requested and approved to be withdrawn.  Ulloa Management Group, LLC was deemed non-responsive for failure to submit the bid bond required in the IFB. The bid submitted from PeakCM, LLC is considered reasonable based on comparison to the engineer’s estimate.  References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and PeakCM, LLC has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, the award is recommended to PeakCM, LLC.
