REMARKS:

The supplier contracted for the next generation 911 GIS project to validate millions of GIS records in preparation for the project. The state mandates GIS records are a minimum of 98% accuracy rate. This supplier has spent over three years validating data to get Orange County to this rate and we will be implementing this project year at all 911 Public Safety Answering Points.

Geo-Comm’s solution is proprietary and critical to ensure continued compatibility of the GIS data and data workflow.  This contract ensures state and national standards are met and GIS data is accurate for public safety.

Brevard and Seminole counties also utilized this vendor for a similar project with pricing according to their address points.

Orange County has worked with this vendor for several years preparing the 911 GIS database for Next Generation 911.
