The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROCUREMENT:

This amendment will extend the contract subaward period of performance from December 1, 2024 through November 30, 2025 and provide additional funding to meet projected needs based on the County’s usage to date and allow Orange County to maintain and continue providing COVID-19 related hygiene support to the homeless in Orange County.  The County projected the monthly number of clients to be served is 80.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 5896-019-8610-8610.  Funding comes from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.

APPROVALS:

The Mental Health and Homelessness Division concurs with this request.

 

REMARKS:

On December 3, 2021, the Procurement Division, within its authority, awarded Contract Y22-2405 to Clean the World Foundation, Inc. in the contract amount not-to-exceed $100,000. This Federal subaward is issued from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund allocation received by the County on May 18, 2021.

 

Previous contract amendments are as follows:

 

Amendment No. 1: Revised the performance period from December 1, 2022 through November 30, 2023, with an increase of $99,000, through Board approval on December 13, 2022, for a revised not-to-exceed contract award amount of $199,000.

 

Amendment No. 2: Revised the performance period from December 1, 2023 through November 30, 2024, with an increase of $100,000, through Board approval on November 14, 2023, for a revised not-to-exceed contract award amount of $299,000.
