SUBJECT: Ratification of Amendment No. 1, Master Agreement Y21-1099, AT&T Switched Ethernet
ACTION REQUESTED:
title
Ratification of Amendment No. 1, Master Agreement Y21-1099, AT&T Switched Ethernet, with AT&T, in the amount of $2,065,920, for a revised total contract amount of $5,249,081. ([Administration and Fiscal Services Department Information Systems and Services Division] Procurement Division)
body
PROCUREMENT:
This amendment extends the master agreement for a period of five years and increases the contract total to continue ethernet services and the provision of voice, data, and internet services for remote sites throughout the County. Unlike Y27-115, AT&T Switched Ethernet On Demand Services, which enables the County to quickly make changes to circuits through the AT&T portal, this agreement supports circuits that cannot be converted to the on demand services and requires AT&T to increase or decrease the bandwidth. The effective date of the agreement is September 3, 2026.
FUNDING:
Funds are available in account number 0001-031-0562-3720.
APPROVALS:
The Information Systems and Services Division concurs with the recommendation.
REMARKS:
On August 24, 2021, the Board authorized the execution of Y21-1099 in the amount of $3,183,161 for a five-year term, with further authorization to continue on a monthly basis.
Analysis conducted by the Information Systems and Services Division has determined pricing to be fair, reasonable, and in the best interest of the County. By extending our existing agreement, the County is able to maintain the current rates offered by AT&T. Rates under this agreement are lower than those currently contracted by City of Orlando and lower than rates from similar providers, Lumen and Spectrum.
