The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

Work under this contract includes the installation of people counting sensors including data infrastructure at each public facing hall to obtain accurate hall capacity in the North/South and West buildings at the Orange County Convention Center campus. The project is located in District 6.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0960-6210.

APPROVALS:

The Convention Center and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Three bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Technology International, Inc. was deemed non-responsive for failing to submit the required bid bond and qualifying their bid with additional terms and conditions. References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and Tadeos Engineering LLC has been determined to be responsible. Tadeos Engineering LLC’s bid is approximately 20% lower than the designer cost estimate. A scope confirmation meeting was conducted, affirming the bid's fairness and reasonableness. Therefore, award is recommended to Tadeos Engineering LLC.
