Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y24-1082-AV, Soap Products at the Orange County Convention Center, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Dade Paper & Bag, LLC dba Imperial Dade, in the estimated contract award amount of $773,600 for a five-year term.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, M/WBE participation sub-contract agreements, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. This contract will provide soap products for the Orange County Convention Center.

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0927-3710.
APPROVALS:
The Convention Center and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Fourteen bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. ZenTech Consulting LLC, Agni Enterprises, LLC dba Head to Heels Safety Supplies, ULOVETHAT LLC, and MIRE Logistics LLC were deemed non-responsive for failing to submit a complete response per the IFB. Artis Enterprises, LLC, All Florida Paper, LLC, United Sales USA Corp, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, Ltd, dba The Home Depot Pro, Elite Business Strategies, LLC, ODP Business Solutions, LLC, Applied Industrial Technologies-Dixie, Inc. and Eugene Solutions LLC were deemed non-responsible based on the results of the reference checks. Dade Paper & Bag, LLC dba Imperial Dade’s price is reasonable, has a satisfactory record of performance and is considered responsible. Therefore, the recommendation for award is made to Dade Paper & Bag, LLC dba Imperial Dade.
