Contributions:
Florida Crime Prevention Association - $1,000. This charitable organization was founded in 1969 in an effort to increase awareness of crime prevention strategies and to network with other agencies on how to fight crime victimization. The 56th Annual Conference will be held the week of October 20, 2025, at the Drury Plaza in Disney Springs.
Running 4 Heroes Inc. - $1,000. This contribution will honor our fallen heroes through running, while also providing financial support to first responders injured in the line of duty and providing safety equipment to our K-9 Officers. The 4th Annual Blue Tie Gala will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Orlando Marriott Lake Mary.
Children’s Safety Village of Central Florida - $2,500. The Children’s Safety Village is one of Orange County’s essential resources for life-safety education for young children. Last year staff served over 22,000 community residents with programs and services focused on drowning prevention, pedestrian and bike safety, gun safety, internet safety, and dangerous person awareness.
Central Florida YMCA Inc. - $1,000. This organization is strongly committed to the Central Florida community and is poised to bring the Achievers Program back for its relaunch at the 35th Anniversary Weekend in August 2025. Since its inception, Achievers has been a beacon of opportunity for Central Florida’s youth. This program has impacted over 13,000 individuals across Central Florida. The core elements of the program are mentorship, academic support, career exploration, and life skills training.
Florida Missing Children’s Day Foundation Inc. - $1,000. This contribution provides funding for honoring law enforcement officers and citizens who have assisted in missing children cases and to raise statewide awareness to help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation during their annual Florida Missing Children’s Day ceremony to be held in remembrance of Florida’s past and present missing children. The event will be held on September 8, 2025, at the Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida.
