The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will consist of the replacement of floor expansion joints on level one of the west building. The scope of work includes the removal of damaged existing expansion joints as required, identify suitable materials that are resistant to wear, tear, weathering, and chemical exposure to ensure longevity and durability of the expansion joint system. The project is located in District 6.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0966-59-6210.

APPROVALS:

The Capital Planning and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Four bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Prestige Building Group was deemed non-responsive for failure to provide a complete Bid Bond as required in the IFB. Prestige Contracting Company, LLC was deemed non-responsive by the Procurement Division, based on the analysis provided by the Business Development Division, which identified that the M/WBE participation goal was not achieved, and sufficient good faith effort documentation was not provided. Southern Road & Bridge LLC was deemed non-responsible for failure to meet the minimum requirements of the project as prescribed in the IFB. The bid received from SkyBuilders USA LLC is considered reasonable based on current market conditions. References provided were satisfactory for this type of work. SkyBuilders USA LLC has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, award is recommended to SkyBuilders USA LLC.
