The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide annual evidenced-based substance abuse treatment and practices for adult males and females sentenced or pre-sentenced inmates that are identified as in need of substance abuse treatment.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 1660-081-3830-3159.

APPROVALS:

The Corrections Department and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

One proposal was received in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP). Specialized Treatment, Education, and Prevention Services, Inc. is the current provider of these services and has performed satisfactorily.

To ensure an open and competitive solicitation process, the RFP was posted on the County’s e-procurement portal and a query was conducted to potential proposers who declined to participate in this solicitation resulted in the following:

Aspire Health Partners: No response was received to the query.
 
Last Kings Preservation: No response was received to the query. 

New Beginnings Holdings: Newly introduced to government/local contracts and would like to gain more experience and knowledge. 

Name It & Claim It Enterprise, LLC: No response was received to the query. 

Serenity & Empowerment Wellness LLC: No response was received to the query.     
                                                                                                                                        The proposal was evaluated in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFP by the Procurement Committee on October 2, 2024. Commissioner Mayra Uribe was assigned to the Procurement Committee.  The Procurement Committee’s consensus scores are attached.
