The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PURPOSE: To formalize the County’s intent to vacate, ensure legal and financial closure of the Lease, and provide the landlord with an approved, binding document confirming the surrender date.

REMARKS: The property located at 2976 Forsyth Road, Orlando, Florida 32792 has been used by the Fire Rescue Department for training as approved by the Board on August 31, 2004.

The Fire Rescue Department has since constructed and relocated operations to a new training facility. As a result, the County has executed an Early Termination of Lease, effective September 15, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of the Lease Agreement. 

Approval of this Third Amendment will ensure compliance with the Lease Agreement, establish a clear and legally binding surrender date, and authorize the necessary actions to return the Premises to the landlord in the condition required under the Lease.
