The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the installation and establishment of trees within roadway medians as design by the County. The work includes the removal and disposal of existing sod, trees, and shrubs located within the roadway medians. The contract shall also include maintenance of all newly installed landscaping for a period of two years following installation.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account numbers 1002-072-5143-3816, 1029-072-5143-3816, and 1023-072-2753-3197.

APPROVALS:

The Public Works Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Two bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness.  Prices have been determined to be reasonable by comparison to historical cost trends and are consistent with current market conditions.

References confirmed satisfactory past performance and reliability for James F. McCann Landscaping, LLC.  James F. McCann Landscaping, LLC has met all the evaluation criteria and is considered responsible bidder for the services as required in the specifications for providing tree trimming and related services.

Therefore, award is recommended to James F. McCann Landscaping, LLC.
