body
PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of January 1, 2027 through June 30, 2027 to align the expiration date with contract Y22-156, Tennis Management Services at Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex. Projected revenue to the County generated during the extension period is approximately $27,000.
FUNDING:
This is a revenue generating contract.
APPROVALS:
The Parks and Recreation Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On November 30, 2021, the Board selected M.G. Tennis Shop, Inc. to provide Tennis Management Services, Lot A (Lake Cane Tennis Center at Shadow Bay Park) and authorized the Procurement Division to execute a three-year contract, with the option to exercise two additional one-year renewals. Services include the operation of recreational tennis programs, leagues, tournaments, and lessons, as well as management of the pro shop, inventory, general facility maintenance, and customer service.
Aligning this contract with the Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex contract will allow the County to solicit services for both facilities concurrently, reducing administrative efforts, promoting consistent resident pricing and supporting a uniform approach to tennis facility operations and service delivery.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
Amendment No. 2: Incorporated the Anti-Human Trafficking provision.
Amendment No. 3: Renewed the contract for the period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
