Approval to award Invitation of Bids Y24-1068-KS, Building Automation Systems Preventative Maintenance and Repairs, to the following low responsive and responsible bidders: Lot A, Trane U.S. Inc. in the estimated award amount of $576,000 for a three-year term and Lot C, Automated Logic Contracting Services, Inc. in the estimated award amount of $234,070.50 for a three-year term. Further, request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contracts for two additional one-year terms. PROCUREMENT:
The contracts will provide routine inspection and maintenance for the Building Automation Systems for Orange County facilities.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers: 0001-043-1713-3810, 0001-043-1715-3810, 0001-043-1717-3810, 0001-043-1718-3810, and 0001-043-1719-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Facilities Management and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Three bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Market analysis was conducted to determine price reasonableness to include City of Orlando and Racine County, Wisconsin, pricing for like services. Recommendation for award is made to Trane U.S. Inc. for Lot A and Automated Logic Contracting Services, Inc. for Lot C, who met the requirements of this solicitation. Johnson Controls was deemed non-responsive for qualifying their bid with additional terms and conditions. Lot B will not be awarded under this solicitation.
