The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This amendment adds funds to support operations while a new procurement process is completed. The re-solicitation is currently under technical evaluation.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4410-038-1012-3197.

 

APPROVALS:

The Solid Waste Division concurs with this recommendation.

 

REMARKS:

On December 4, 2018, the Board authorized award of Invitation for Bids Y19-116 to Perma-Fix of Florida, Inc. in the estimated contract award amount of $1,106,070, renewable by the Procurement Division for four additional one-year terms.  This contract provides collection, management, and disposal/recycling of materials collected by the County’s household hazardous waste management program.

Previous contract amendments are as follows:

 

Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of December 31, 2019 through December 30, 2020.

Amendment No. 2:                      Increased the estimated contract amount by $49,872 to support an onsite remediation for a special project. The revised estimated contract amount is $1,155,942.

Amendment No. 3:                      Renewed the contract for the period of December 31, 2020 through December 30, 2021 with a CPI increase of 3.1%. Estimated total contract amount remained unchanged.

Amendment No. 4:                      Renewed the contract for the period of December 31, 2021 through December 30, 2022 with a CPI increase of 4%. Estimated total contract amount remained unchanged.

Amendment No. 5:                      Renewed the contract for the period of December 31, 2022 through December 30, 2023 with a CPI increase of 17.94%. Estimated total contract amount remained unchanged.

Amendment No. 6:                      Extended the contract for the period of December 31, 2023 through March 30, 2024.

Amendment No. 7: Extended the contract for the period of April 1, 2024 through June 30, 2024 while a new procurement was evaluated and awarded. 

Amendment No. 8:                      Extended the contract for the period of July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024 while a new procurement is awarded.
