The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide construction improvements which will take place along four residential streets (East Bay Street, Christopher Street, Trumbo Street, and Saba Avenue) and will include new five-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roads, roadway milling and resurfacing, a closed drainage system, and two retention ponds. This project will also include improvements to the City of Winter Garden’s water main. This project involves the City of Winter Garden on the water main improvement. The project is located in District 1.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account numbers 5896-019-5148-6311, 5904-068-9355-4440 and 6689-001-0061-8510. This is federally funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and Community Development Block Grant. The water main improvement portion will be financed by the City of Winter Garden under a Joint Project Agreement.

APPROVALS:

The Public Works Engineering concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Four bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. The bid received from Stage Door II, LLC is considered reasonable based on the engineer’s estimate. References provided were satisfactory for this type of work. Stage Door II, LLC has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, award is recommended to Stage Door II, LLC.
