PROCUREMENT:

The project consists of supervisory control and data acquisition panel upgrade of 16 master pump stations throughout Orange County’s service area. This also includes installation of new back-up control panels and new pump control panels, demolition of all replaced equipment, new wire and conduit for equipment, expansion of grounding system for new equipment, fiber optic termination cabinets at four stations and the installation of 14 generator fuel level transmitters. The project is located in various districts throughout Orange County.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4420-038-1416-0017-6310.

APPROVALS:

The Utilities Engineering and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Two bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness.  Carr & Collier Inc has a satisfactory record of performance for this type of work and has been determined to be responsible.  Therefore, award is recommended to Carr and Collier Inc.
