PROCUREMENT:

The Consultant shall provide general consulting, project management, and technical expertise and ensure compliance with current regulations and guidelines developed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, United States Environmental Protection Agency, America Standard for Testing and Materials Standards, and County and municipal building and zoning requirements.

Throughout the term of this contract, it will be the Consultant’s responsibility to perform several tasks that my include, but not be limited to:

                     Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments

                     Site Assessments

                     Remedial Action Activities

                     Natural Attenuation Monitoring

                     Spill prevention control and countermeasure plan/updates

                     Emergency Response

This project is located in all districts.

FUNDING:

Task authorizations associated with this continuing contract will be funded by the County on an as needed basis.

DISCUSSION:

Five proposals were received in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) and were evaluated in accordance with criteria set forth in the RFP. The proposals for American Compliance Technologies, Inc. and S&ME, Inc. scored too low for Board consideration.

The proposals were evaluated by the Procurement Committee on January 15, 2025. Commissioner Michael Scott was assigned to the Procurement Committee.
