PROJECT: Parks Lake Ellenor Community Park
PURPOSE: To provide funding for additional design services to complete the capital improvements.
BUDGET: Accounting Line Number: 1265-062-2188-6310
JUSTIFICATION/DISCUSSION:
This additional design work is necessary to implement changes to the programming and the associated site layout, landscape, irrigation, electrical, and lighting work to accommodate the addition of the new small restroom and storage building which will be a bid additive. This additional design work also includes the associated coordination and permit fees for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the South Florida Water Management District permits.
PREVIOUS ACTIONS TO THIS CONTRACT:
The Contract award was approved on September 12,2023.
Original Contract dated March 7, 2024 Lump sum amount - $ 343,153.15
Change Order No. 1 dated December 10, 2024 Lump sum amount - $ 42,261.81
Revision of 60% design documents resulting in the
addition and deletion of some of the park elements to
work within the budget by removing the site lighting
and relocate the fields
Change Order No. 2 dated March 13, 2026 Lump sum amount - $ 51,830.82
Revision of 90% design documents to accommodate
scope changes
Proposed Change Order No. 3 Lump sum amount - $ 20,817.61
Site changes, irrigation and landscape design and permit
fee to accommodate the addition of the new small restroom
