The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide general plumbing repairs and services for the Orange County Convention Center.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0922-3810.

APPROVALS:

The Orange County Convention Center and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Six bids were received in response to this Invitation For Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility and price reasonableness. Sherman Mechanical Contractors, BigKing Services, and Sunny’s Plumbing Solutions were deemed non-responsible based on the results of the reference checks. Frank Gay Services, LLC met reference requirements and has a history of satisfactory performance with the County. Price reasonableness was determined through comparison to existing Orange County contracts Y23-164A and Y23-164C for plumbing services.

Therefore, award is recommended to Frank Gay Services, LLC.
