The VERB Kind - 2026 Berk Golf Classic - $2,500. This contribution will assist this organization’s mentoring program that reaches the youth inside the walls of a juvenile detention center and gives them a second chance through mentoring, education, and connecting them with community resources. The Verb Kind will be partnering with Louis Berk for the 2026 Berk Golf Classic being held at the Bella Collina golf course on February 23, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. All proceeds will go to The VERB Kind.
Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America - 2026 Golden Eagle Dinner - $17,500. This contribution will provide funding to support at-risk youth with guidance and role models through scouting. This program will enable youth to recognize and reach their full potential by making the right choices to accomplish their goals. The 2026 Golden Eagle Dinner will be held on April 9, 2026, at the Kia Center, Orlando Florida.
Harbor House of Central Florida - 15th Annual Paws for Peace Walk - $1,500. This organization is committed to providing comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and to providing domestic violence education to Central Florida communities. The Paws for Peace Walk will be held on April 25, 2026, at Harbor Park in Orlando, Florida.
S.A. Casey Construction - Ballistic Storefront Replacement Sector I & III - $140,000. This request for funds is for the purpose of enhancing the security at Sector 1 and 3 substations by providing protection for public access storefront. In addition, this enhanced security will assist in providing a safe place for Orange County Sheriff’s Office Personnel to work and effectively engage with the citizens they serve at Sector 1 and 3 substations.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - $2,500. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. This organization advocates for access to services, treatment, support and research, and is dedicated in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community for hope for all of those in need. This contribution will provide funding through support for the 2026 NAMIWalks Central Florida annual fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Cranes Roost Blvd. in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
