The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This change order will extend the lease of this equipment for the period from October 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025 and allow the estimated time for the structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering to be completed by a contractor in order to install two new replacement blowers.  This engineering is needed to ensure that this critical equipment is installed per the manufacturer’s specifications by a qualified contractor.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account 4420-038-1357-3610.

APPROVALS:

The Water Reclamation Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

On April 29, 2024, Purchase Order M114771 was issued to Aerzen Rental USA LLC, in the amount of $97,950.  This purchase order procured the rental of a process blower that is needed for continuity of operation at the Northwest Water Reclamation Facility treatment process Basin 3 to alleviate continued failures of existing blowers resulting in process upsets. The initial rental period was from April 30, 2024 to August 30, 2024.

This rental is imperative to ensure the health and public safety of County residents and County employees and to maintain regulatory compliance. Failure to have this purchase order processed could result in safety risks to the public, the environment, and additional costs to the County.

Previous change orders are as follows:

Change Order No. 1: Added connection hoses for the period of the rental in the amount of $6,960, for a revised total amount of $104,910.

Change Order No. 2:  Increased freight charges as the actual cost was unknown due to an uncertain weight of equipment being shipped, in the amount of $5,000, for a revised total amount of $109,910.

Change Order No. 3:  Added funds in the amount of $24,610, for a revised total amount of $134,520, and extended equipment rental from August 30, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
