In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: The Parks and Recreation Division is working with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to Construct the Coast to Coast Trail Orange County Gap Segment 2 (from Hiawassee Road to north of State Road 414) - Financial Project Number (FPN) 436433-1-52-01. FDOT requires the County to execute this On and Off System Construction and Maintenance Agreement for On and Off System Multi-Use Trail (the “Agreement”) to move forward with construction of the project tentatively scheduled to begin later in 2025. Construction is being funded by FDOT except for County funds being provided for specific traffic signal replacements as specified in the associated Local Funding Agreements. Construction will be performed by FDOT with long maintenance by the County as specified in the Agreement. The County Attorney's Office, Risk Management Division, Real Estate Management Division and Parks and Recreation Division have reviewed this Agreement and find it acceptable.
