The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

Work under this contract consists of the construction of a new sidewalk along the east side of Bumby Avenue from Gatlin Avenue to Lake Margaret Drive. Additionally, the project will construct a new sidewalk to fill gaps along the north and south sides of Gatlin Avenue from Fern Creek Avenue to Bumby Avenue. The project length is 1.25 miles, consisting of new sidewalk and associated drainage improvements and will be constructed within the public right-of-way and construction easements.  The project is located in District 3.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 1003-072-2841-3816.

APPROVALS:

The Public Works Engineering and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Six bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Development of Central Florida, Inc.’s bid is considered reasonable based on the engineer’s estimate.  References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and Development of Central Florida, Inc. has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, the award is recommended to Development of Central Florida, Inc.
