PURPOSE: The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services (“Florida Network”) and Orange County, Florida reached an agreement on June 29, 2014, which was approved by the Board. Under the terms of the agreement, at-risk youth will be assisted by a continuum of services, including but not limited to centralized intake, outreach, screening and referral, assessment, service planning, case management, temporary shelter, counseling, case staffing, and adjudication.  Orange County has been asked to formally acknowledge receipt and understanding of Schedule F, which is part of the new SNAP License Agreement between Child Development Institute (CDI) and Florida Network. According to the agreement’s section on subcontractors, CDI, as the licensor, has agreed to permit Florida Network (the licensee) to engage specific subcontractors to use its resource materials and trademarks, collectively referred to as the “Works.” Schedule F requires that a representative from each subcontractor sign to confirm receipt and understanding of the terms outlined in the license agreement. This serves as Orange County’s formal acknowledgement of its responsibilities and requirements as a subcontractor within the broader agreement between CDI and Florida Network.  The new SNAP License Agreement aims to ensure that the “Works” are properly utilized and managed according to the terms agreed upon by CDI and Florida Network. By signing Schedule F, Orange County affirms its understanding of and compliance with these terms as an authorized subcontractor.
