The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This amendment will extend the contract for the period of April 1, 2026 through May 31, 2026 and adds funding to support services during the contract extension period while a new procurement process is completed. The resolicitation is projected to be awarded in April.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account numbers 1002-072-2708-3816 and 1142-072-2902-3816.

APPROVALS:

The Stormwater Management Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

On August 8, 2022, the Board authorized award of Contract Y22-199 to Aero GroundTek, LLC, in the amount of $1,082,600 for a one-year term with two option year renewals. This contract provides mowing, edging, herbicide treatment, and litter removal for retention ponds located in the John Young, Taft I, Taft II, Bithlo and Goldenrod areas of Orange County.

Previous contract amendments are as follows:

Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the Option Year 1 period of November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024.

Amendment No. 2: Renewed the contract for the Option Year 2 period of November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025 and added funds in the amount of $57,925, for a revised estimated contract amount of $1,140,525.

Amendment No. 3: Addition of pond #0237 and #0238. There was no change to the contract amount.

Amendment No. 4: Addition of pond #8227, #8215 and #8222. There was no change to the contract amount.

Amendment No. 5: Extended the contract for the period of November 1, 2025 through January 31, 2025. There was no change to the contract amount.

Amendment No. 6: Extended the contract for the period of February 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026 and added funds in the amount of $50,335, for a revised estimated contract amount of $1,190,860.
