The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will restore sites after emergency repairs, routine repairs, and maintenance work. Delivery and installation of soil, sod, flexible pavements, curbs, gutter, and other incidentals that were damaged as a result of emergency and routine maintenance and repair activities throughout Orange County.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account numbers 4420-038-1347-3190 and 4420-038-1328-3190.

APPROVALS:

The Field Services Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Four bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Price reasonableness was established by comparison to the engineer's estimate and consideration of market factors. 

The bid submitted from Stage Door II, LLC is considered reasonable based on comparison to the engineer’s estimate. Eden Site Development was deemed non-responsible for failing to submit the required license to perform the scope detailed in the IFB. The scope consists of stand alone horizontal restoration which requires a Certified General Contractors License. The licenses submitted were not in the Respondent's name as it appears on the Official Bid Form, as required in the IFB. References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and Stage Door II, LLC has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, the award is recommended to Stage Door II, LLC.
