The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract provides rental assistance to Community Health Centers, Inc. to support the provision of medical care to uninsured and underinsured citizens in Orange County through the Primary Care Access Network, Inc. (PCAN) program. The agreement period is January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

FUNDING:

Funds are available in account number 0001-060-2502-8610.

APPROVALS:

The Health Services Department concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

In accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Part 1, Chapter 17, Article III, Section 17-286 - Application and exclusions, agreements between the Board and nonprofit organizations are excluded from competitive procurement requirements.

The County directly funded a lease for a PCAN Clinic managed by Community Health Centers, Inc. (CHC) until it expired December 31, 2016.  At that time, Community Health Centers, Inc. relocated to 840 Mercy Drive, Orlando, Florida 32808, and assumed responsibility for the lease agreement.   At that time, the Health Services Department entered into a lease assistance agreement to provide funding to CHC to support healthcare activities at this location.  This new agreement will continue our support for CHC’s healthcare activities at their Pine Hills location at the same amount as the previous agreement.
