Approval of Amendment No. 11, Contract Y21-135A, HVAC Installation and Repair Services, with Climate Control Mechanical Services, in the amount of $300,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $1,389,750. PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, and adds funding to support services during the contract extension period while a new procurement is completed. The re-solicitation is projected to be released in May.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers: 0001-043-1713-3810, 0001-043-1715-3810, 0001-043-1717-3810, 0001-043-1718-3810, and 0001-043-1719-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Facilities Management Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On May 10, 2021, the Board authorized the award of Invitation for Bids Y21-135 to Climate Control Mechanical Services in the estimated contract amount of $739,750 for a one-year term with four additional one-year renewals.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Increased the contract by $50,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $789,750.
Amendment No. 2: Increased the contract by $100,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $889,750.
Amendment No. 3: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
Amendment No. 4: Replaced Amendment No. 3 to correct a typographical error in the renewal date.
Amendment No. 5: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
Amendment No. 6: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Amendment No. 7: Revised the Maximum Order Limitation from $150,000 to $200,000.
Amendment No. 8: Increased the contract by $50,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $939,750.
Amendment No. 9: Increased the contract by $150,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $1,089,750. Board approval was obtained on June 14, 2024.
Amendment No. 10: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
