The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This amendment adds additional funding to the contract to support the comprehensive implementation and delivery of the programs funded through the Hurricane Milton CDBG-DR allocations.

FUNDING:

Funding is available through account number 5924-068-8790-3197.  Funds for this project are inclusive of a $6,000,000 pass-through of funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding source is the CDBG-DR grant for Hurricane Milton.

APPROVALS:

The Housing and Community Development Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

On November 19, 2024, the Board authorized award of Contract Y24-1065, Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) General Grant Management Services to HORNE LLP, in the estimated amount of $62,466,430 for a three-year term with one additional three-year renewal term. The contract total was inclusive of pass-through funding and consulting/management services provided by the awarded vendor.

The additional funding requested will support the extension, with annual and software support fees pro-rated accordingly.

Previous contract amendment is as follows:

Amendment No. 1: Expanded the scope of services to include support to the County’s development of an unmet needs assessment and mitigation needs assessment, as well as a CDBG-DR Action Plan. This amendment increased the contract by $89,400, for a revised total contract amount of $62,555,830.
