The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

The study aims to conduct a high-level technical evaluation to identify and analyze potential transportation projects that would enhance network connectivity and alleviate congestion in constrained corridors. The outcomes shall include a prioritized list of regional roadway improvements, intersection enhancements, and upgrades for transit, pedestrian, and bicycle infrastructure in North-West Orange County. The study limits encompass the region north of Clarcona-Ocoee Road, south of Orange/Seminole County line, east of Orange/Lake County Line, and west of Orange/Seminole County line. This project is located in District 2.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 1002-072-2732-3110.

APPROVALS:

The Transportation Planning Division and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

 

REMARKS:

One proposal was received in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP). The Procurement Committee evaluated the proposals in accordance with the criteria set forth in this RFP. 

To ensure an open and competitive solicitation process, the RFP was posted to the County’s e-procurement platform.  A query of potential proposers that declined to compete on this project resulted in the following:

Michael Baker International: Advised they did not have adequate time to prepare a high-quality proposal in that instance.

Stantec Architecture Inc.: No response received from the query.

Arcadis Professional Services (USA) Inc.:  No response received from the query.

RS&H, Inc.: No response received from the query.

The Procurement Committee’s consensus scores are attached.  The proposals were evaluated by the Procurement Committee on July 24, 2024.  Commissioner Mike Scott was assigned to the Procurement Committee.
