PURPOSE: To amend Resolution No. 2025-M-46 to correct the Parcel's assessed value and legal description before the Board considers approval of the successful bid and execution of the County Deed.

REMARKS: Resolution No. 2025-M-46 declared the property located at 4755 Palmetto Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32792 (Parcel ID No. 02-22-30-0000-00-047) surplus to the needs of Orange County and authorized its sale by public sale pursuant to Section 125.35(1)(c), Florida Statutes.
During preparation of the conveyance documents, Real Estate Management identified a clerical error in the Parcel’s assessed value and determined that the original legal description included land previously conveyed by Orange County. A revised legal description was prepared to accurately reflect the County’s current ownership interest.
The proposed Resolution corrects the assessed value of $351,71.00 (a typographical error) to $351,717.00 and replaces Exhibit “A” of Resolution No. 2025-M-46 with the revised legal description. These corrections do not change the Board’s previous determination that the property is surplus or its authorization to offer the property for sale by public sale. The amendment ensures that the resolution accurately identifies the property intended for conveyance before the Board considers approval of the successful bid.
