The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y24-1055-AV, Access Control, Monitoring Services, and Installation, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Lane Electronics and Alarm Systems, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $446,255 for a five-year term.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide monitoring, repairs, inspection, and installation of the access control to 37 parks and the graphics administration location.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 1050-062-1801-3197.

 

APPROVALS:

The Parks and Recreation Division and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

 

REMARKS:

Five bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Johnson Controls Security (JCI) was deemed non-responsive for including conflicting terms with the solicitation and an edited Bid Response Form. Lane Electronics and Alarm Systems, Inc. has a satisfactory record of performance and is considered responsible. Therefore, the recommendation for award is made to Lane Electronics and Alarm Systems, Inc.
