The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide testing, inspection, maintenance, and monitoring of the fire alarm system and smoke control system at the Orange County Convention Center.

 

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0922-3810.

 

 

APPROVALS:

The Convention Center concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Five bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Midwest Alarm Company Inc. and Summit Fire & Security were deemed non-responsible for failure to comply with reference requirements as identified in the IFB. Sciens Orlando LLC was deemed non-responsive for failure to sign their offer, and for qualifying their bid with additional terms and conditions.  Convergint Technologies LLC has a satisfactory record of performance and is considered responsible. Prices have been determined to be reasonable compared to current contracted pricing. Therefore, award is recommended Convergint Technologies LLC.
