Approval of Amendment No. 6, Contract Y21-135C, HVAC Installation and Repair Services, with Climate Control Mechanical Services, in the amount of $100,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $533,500. PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, and add funding to support services during the contract extension period while a new procurement is completed. The re-solicitation is projected to be issued in May.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers: 1009-034-0672-3810; 4420-038-1359-3810; 4420-038-1301-3810; 4410-038-1013-3810; 4410-038-1034-3810; 4410-038-1031-3810
APPROVALS:
The Fire Rescue Department and Utilities Department concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On May 10, 2021, the Board authorized the award of Invitation for Bids Y21-135C to Climate Control Mechanical Services, in the estimated contract award amount of $433,500 for a one-year term with four additional one-year renewals.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
Amendment No. 2: Replaced Amendment No. 1 to correct a typographical error in the renewal date.
Amendment No. 3: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
Amendment No. 4: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Amendment No. 5: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
