The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROCUREMENT:

The contracts will provide continuing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering and consulting services. The projects will be located throughout Orange County.

 

FUNDING:

The County will fund task authorizations associated with these continuing contracts on an as needed basis. 

 

DISCUSSION:

The scope of professional mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services to be provided and/or performed by the consultants, either by their “in-house” staff or through a sub-consultant arrangement, for selected projects may include, but not be limited to, providing and or performing services or tasks such as:

                     Providing Monthly Reports

                     Problem Analysis

                     Assessments

                     Project Programming

                     Schematic Design

                     Design Development through 30%, 60%, and 90%

                     Construction Documents

                     Technical Specifications

                     Return on Investment Analysis

                     Cost Estimating Services

                     Value Engineering

                     Reproductions

                     Permits

                     Construction Contract Administration

 

Ten proposals were received in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) and evaluated in accordance with the criteria contained in the RFP. Earth First Consulting LLC, Harvard Jolly, Inc., dba LEAF Engineers, Ingenuity Engineers, Inc., and Setty & Associates International, PLLC, LLC scored too low for Board consideration.

Proposals were evaluated by the Procurement Committee on March 26, 2025. A reconvene meeting was held April 9, 2025.  Commissioner Mayra Uribe was assigned to the Procurement Committee.
