The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y25-604-TF, Service Line Material Inventory, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, National Metering Services, Inc., in the amount of $949,500 for a one-year term.

PROCUREMENT:

The Utilities Field Services Division will inventory service line materials in alignment with the Environmental Protection Agency mandates and guidelines. The work included in this contract will be for, but not limited to, the uncovering, testing, identifying, documenting, and restoring sites that the Orange County Utilities will identify throughout unincorporated Orange County.

 

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4420-038-1328-3197.

APPROVALS:

The Utilities Field Services Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Two bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility and price reasonableness. National Metering Services, Inc. has a satisfactory record of past performance. Prices are deemed reasonable and present a 5% lower cost than the County’s estimate.
