The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROCUREMENT:

This amendment will provide for additional post design services required by the Florida Department of Transportation, construction plan design revisions, and bid document revisions requested by the County. This project includes an Agreement with the Florida Turnpike Enterprise. The County and the consultant had several coordination meetings with the Florida Turnpike Enterprise to redesign the segment of trail/boardwalk and associated drainage within their Right of Way to satisfy their requirements. A major portion of the post-design services budget for this project was utilized for redesigning the trail/boardwalk and drainage.  The additional funds for this project will be for performing post design services The Consultant will also provide engineering services during construction of the project including, but not limited, to site visits, attend meetings, filed reviews, and contract administration. The project is located in District 1.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 1265-062-2119-6310.

APPROVALS:

The Public Works Engineering Division and Parks and Recreation Division concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

On October 2, 2021, the Board authorized the selection of WBQ Design & Engineering, Inc. and authorized negotiation and execution of a contract by the Procurement Division. The contract was executed on December 17, 2012 for a total contract amount of $1,940,000.
