The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

Work under this contract consists of demolishing and replacing all four existing exterior canopy (Turkey Tail) ceilings at the OCCC North/South concourse. The purpose of this project is to facilitate the installation of the new dry sprinkler system being installed within the ceiling. All new ceiling assemblies shall meet current code wind pressure ratings. All new sprinklers and sprinkler piping shall be installed before the new ceiling is installed. This project is located in District 6.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0960-67-6210.

APPROVALS:

The Capital Planning Division and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Two bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. The bid submitted by SkyBuilders USA, LLC was deemed non-responsive for failing to submit the correct bid bond and reference forms.

The bid submitted from J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. dba Kokolakis Contracting is considered reasonable based on comparison to the engineer’s estimate.  References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. dba Kokolakis Contracting has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, award is recommended to J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. dba Kokolakis Contracting.
