Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y24-1052-AV, Moving Services for Furniture, Equipment and Furnishings, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Anaries LLC, in the estimated contract award amount of $534,000 for a five-year term.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, M/WBE participation sub-contract agreements, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide moving services for furniture, equipment, and furnishings on an as needed basis.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 0001-043-1713-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Facilities Management and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Eight bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Belkins Commercial Installations, Inc. dba BCI Worldwide and Selenius Holdings Inc were deemed non-responsive for failing to submit a signed respondent’s offer. GT Truck and Transportation LLC was deemed non-responsible based on the results of the reference checks. Anaries LLC’s price is reasonable, has a satisfactory record of performance and is considered responsible. Therefore, the recommendation for award is made to Anaries LLC.
