PURPOSE: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, acting as the pass-through agency for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Countywide, has awarded Orange County, as governing body, one Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Countywide grant totaling $49,238.10, with no required match. The grant period is from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, and will support the following approved law enforcement initiative.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office/C-6N241: Intelligence and Information Assessment - Award Number 6N241, funding will support procurement of a protective ballistic podium and an armored personnel platform for our agency’s critical incident vehicle. ($49,238.10)
