Approval of Change Order No. 8, Task Authorization No. 52, Contract Y17-902A, Sheriff’s Sector IV Emergency Electrical Distribution Systems and Generator Replacement, with Hanson Professional Services, Inc., in the amount of $1,496, for a revised total amount of $209,649.56. ([Administrative Services Department Capital Projects Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This amendment authorizes additional professional services for Sheriff’s Sector IV Emergency Electrical Distribution Systems and Generator Replacement. The scope of the additional services is to revise the natural gas line routing, provide additional gas line details, and provide these as signed and sealed drawings, per the Orange County Building Inspector’s request. This project is in District 6.
FUNDING:
Funding is available on account number 1023-043-0263-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Capital Projects Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On May 9, 2017, the Board approved the selection of Hanson Professional Services, Inc., to provide professional services through continuing contract Y17-902A which was executed August 31, 2017. On May 21, 2020, Task Authorization No. 52 was issued for the Sheriff’s Sector IV Emergency Electrical Distribution Systems and Generator Replacement in the total task authorization amount of $94,728.92.
