Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y25-1000-RC, Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lateral and Sectional Lining Term Contract, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, BLD Services, LLC, in the estimated total contract award amount of $4,174,250 for a five-year term.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, M/WBE participation sub-contract agreements, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of cast-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners. Work covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and televising sewer mains and laterals, installation of CIPP liner systems in sanitary sewer laterals (either full length or sectional) ranging in size from 4" to 6", installation of sectional CIPP liner systems in sanitary sewer mains ranging in size from 6" to 30", rehabilitation and reconnection of existing service laterals, and CCTV inspection before and after rehabilitation work. Work includes all associated site work and restoration. The projects are located countywide.
