Selection of Universal Protection Services, LP dba Allied Universal Security Services to provide Security Guard Services, Request for Proposals Y25-1018-KS, in the not to exceed $15,498,157.80. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to negotiate the professional services rates and execute a five-year term contract. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms. ([Corrections Department Administration Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide security guard services at the Juvenile Assessment Center and security screening services for the Corrections Department.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 0001-081-3824-3197, 0001-081-3866-3197, and 0001-081-3872-3197.
APPROVALS:
The Corrections Department and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Twelve proposals were received in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) and evaluated in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFP. Adams Security Group and Jet Security LLC were deemed non-responsive for qualifying their proposal with additional terms and conditions. Blue Shield Security & Protection Inc. was deemed non-responsive for failing to submit the fee proposal form for this solicitation. Genuine Executive Management Solutions, LLC and Prospective Security Services LLC were deemed non-responsive for not attending the mandatory pre-proposal meeting.
