PURPOSE:
The Florida State Legislature enacted a bill directing the Florida Department of Transportation to erect markers for honorary designation of roadway for the following:

International Drive between S.R. 528 and Sand Lake Road in Orange County as "Harris Rosen Way." 

It is requested that the Board approve and execute the Resolution for designating a roadway in honor of the late Harris Rosen affirming its support for the State’s honorary designation. 

This Resolution has been reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office and found to be acceptable.
