PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the County executed Contract #Y25-2401 with the University of Central Florida Research Foundation, Inc. (UCF) for a variety of digital literacy services. These services were expressly provided to support the County’s ARPA-funded Contract #Y23-2408 with Aeras Foundation (Aeras) to create and administer the County’s Device Loaner Program. Based on Aeras’ termination of that contract, the County has negotiated an earlier end date for UCF’s services, as noted in this amendment. In addition, Contract #Y25-2401’s scope of work notes services will be provided in partnership with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) at Orange Technical College during Phase 2 of the project. Sec. 11(C)(1)(b) of Contract #Y25-2401 requires County approval of any Tier 2 Subrecipients, as defined in 2 CFR § 200.331 and corresponding agreements. OCPS’ agreement with UCF to provide services per Contract #Y25-2401’s scope of work requires that approval and complies with applicable terms of that contract. The County Attorney’s Office has reviewed UCF’s Tier 2 Subrecipient Agreement.
