PROCUREMENT:
This amendment extends the contract for the period of January 6, 2025 through January 5, 2026 and adds funding for the extended period to enable the Traffic Engineering Division to continue our efforts to enhance roadway safety and improve traffic conditions throughout the county while completing the program overhaul. The original contract fee structure applies to this amendment.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 1004-072-2729-3816 and 1002-072-2721-3816.
APPROVALS:
The Traffic Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance public safety and improve the quality of life for our residents, the Traffic Engineering Division has been tasked with a comprehensive overhaul of the County's Traffic Calming Program. Since its initiation in 1994, this program has effectively addressed various traffic safety concerns throughout the county; however, with the evolving landscape of our county and increasing traffic safety demands from our citizens, modernizing our approach is essential.
