PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will provide additional funds for continuing homeless services to outer regions of Orange County in the form of medical and mental health services. The additional funds will promote access to long-acting psychotropic injectables to Orange County residents with behavioral health needs that are unhoused and/or precariously housed in west Orange County, with a focus on serving those living in encampments. Any unhoused and/or precariously housed resident may seek services Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, on site at Matthew's Hope in Winter Garden.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 5896-019-8610-18610. This subaward utilizes funds from the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.
APPROVALS:
The Mental Health and Homelessness Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Matthews Hope Ministries, Inc. currently serves approximately 125 individuals monthly with medical and behavioral health services. These additional funds will continue to support on-going care and care for new individuals who may seek these vital medical services. Matthews Hope is the only center in west Orange C...
