The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE:
Board approval is requested to amend the Comptroller’s Office quarterly draw scheduled for fiscal year 2026 to include an additional $101,000 from public service tax (PST) and $909,000 from tourist development tax (TDT) in the April 2026 draw for the purchase of a new revenue collection software system. The current PST/TDT revenue collection system the Comptroller’s Office uses is outdated and needs to be replaced. A request for proposal (RFP) was issued by the Comptroller’s Office last year and a system has been selected for purchase. The amended Comptroller draw schedule is listed in Attachment A.
