PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of September 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026 and adds funding for the extension period to ensure continuity of services while a new solicitation is complete. Invitation for Bids Y26-195-AV has been issued and is currently on the street.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in the account numbers 5530-043-2035-4163, 5530-043-2035-4164, and 4410-038-1025-3820.
APPROVALS:
The Fleet Management and Solid Waste Divisions concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On June 8, 2021, the Board authorized award of Contract Y21-1005 to Bridgestone Hosepower, in the estimated contract amount of $1,155,300. Bridgestone Hosepower is currently providing satisfactory service for on-site and off-site manufacture, repair, and supply of hydraulic and pneumatic hose assemblies and fittings to the Fleet Management and Solid Waste Divisions.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
Amendment No. 2: Renewed the contract from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026 and added anti-human trafficking provision.
