Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y26-712-GV East Service Area John Wycliffe Blvd. 20-inch Reclaimed Water Main and Reclaimed Water Storage and Repump Expansion, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Midsouth, Inc., in the total contract award amount of $8,748,788.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
The project consists of the installation of approximately 6,500 LF of 20-inch ductile iron reclaimed water main and appurtenances along John Wycliffe Blvd, construction of a 1.5 million-gallon reclaimed water ground storage tank, and installation of one 3,000 gallons per minute high service pump assembly and replacement of two 3,000 gallons per minute high service pumps at the Wewahootee Storage and Repump Facility.

Funding is available in the account numbers 4420-038-1483-0033-6340, and 4420-038-1483-0034-6310.
APPROVALS:
The Utilities Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.
